The Pan Am Documentary Project

Working Title: On the Wings of Giants- The Odyssey of Pan American World Airlines

Progress: The Project is slated to premier with the release of a two-hour feature documentary film. The producers will seek both an initial theatrical release as well as broadcast distribution on domestic and international networks. The film will be complimented with a program of educational outreach that includes a DVD-ROM and a Web site featuring additional details about this complex and important story.

Interviews of key Pan Am employees have been shot.
Many resources and rights for this project have been gathered, including use of the official Pan Am company archives, now housed at the Richter Library, University of Miami. Extensive scanning of historical photos is underway.
