Lynn Gillespie has a senior classification at the University of Houston
where she has studied education. She has also taken outside courses
in areas such as fundraising, development, self-esteem and enrichment,
spirituality, and integrating arts in the community.
From September 1981 to July 1992, Lynn worked as assistant to the
principal a St. Michael’s Catholic School. This position was
followed by work as administrative assistant to the Dean oft he College
of the Humanities, Fine Arts a, and Communication at the University
of Houston.
From 1996 to 1999, Lynn became the Coordinator of Donor Relations
at U of H where she worked on special events, presidential correspondence,
grant writing, and planning funding programs. Next, she became the coordinator
of Development and Community Outreach at the Cenacle Retreat House,
a Catholic retreat and meditation facility.
Presently, Lynn works as Director of Spiritual Care and Volunteers for
St. Dominic Village , St. Dominic offers retirement housing programs in
independent living, assisted living, and an Alzheimer care facility. |
